Rapid Result Antigen (Test to Release)

Are you unsure if you have the virus, do you need to make sure you are safe for visiting family or do you want to make sure you are negative following a period of self isolation then this is the test for you.

Imagine a scenario in which a colleague is told she or he has been in contact with a person who has tested positive for corona virus. You won’t know if that person has the virus or not, but you can’t be taking any risks.

Fortunately, however, you can now use a test which can deliver results within 15 minutes; a test which is increasingly being used by companies and individuals across the country.

Our test will confirm if COVID-19 is present in the individual before any symptoms are revealed. It has an accuracy rate of over 99%.

To obtain a test with results in as little as 15 minutes call 01254 677341 to book an appointment. This test is not for travel purposes and does not replace the PCR test that is carried out in a UKAS approved laboratory.

COVID-19 Lateral Flow Rapid Antigen Test (CE Marked 15min Nasal Swab) Test Kit  is a rapid in vitro immunochromatographic assay for the qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid protein antigen. For medical healthcare professional in vitro diagnostic use only.

The COVID-19 Lateral Flow Rapid Antigen Test is simply the best out there – giving outstanding accuracy in comparison with any other test and most importantly in comparison with PCR lab testing.

Who can run these tests?

Medical Healthcare Professionals. The test is not for home use.

What does it do?

The novel coronaviruses belong to the β genus. COVID-19 is an acute respiratory infectious disease. People are generally susceptible. Currently, the patients infected by the novel coronavirus are the main source of infection; asymptomatic infected people can also be an infectious source. Based on the current epidemiological investigation, the incubation period is 1 to 14 days, mostly 3 to 7 days. The main manifestations include fever, fatigue and dry cough. Nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat, myalgia and diarrhoea are found in a few cases. This test is for detection of SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid protein antigen. The antigen is generally detectable in upper respiratory specimens during the acute phase of infection. Rapid diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 infection will help healthcare professionals to treat patients and control the disease more efficiently and effectively.

For medical healthcare professional in vitro diagnostic use only.

The COVID-19 antigen test kit from reveals if a person is currently infected with the SARS-COV-2 pathogen. Once the infection has gone, the antigens will no longer be present.

The SARS-COV-2 Antigen Rapid Test Kit uses a specially designed swab to determine whether or not a person is currently infected with COVID-19. The swab is inserted into the nostrils to take  samples from the nasal cavity.

Collected samples are then placed into an extraction tube that contains approximately 0.5ml of a specially designed virus preservation solution. After just 2 minutes, the specimen is placed on a testing cassette, and an accurate result is revealed within 15 minutes.

The accuracy ratings for the Antigen Test Kit are up to 98% accurate and it can be used by medical professionals to confirm current infection. Data collected from test results can be used to investigate the spread of the virus, further inform safe working practices and help to curb the virus.

What is the Antigen Test?

An Antigen Test determines the presence of the COVID-19 virus by identifying SARS-CoV-2 Antigens in the body. An antigen is a molecule on the surface of a viral cell that produces an immune response and is an indicator of infection.

How it Works

Our simple Antigen Test works by taking a sample from an individual using a nasopharyngeal (nasal) swab, placing the sample into a liquid solution, and then pouring the liquid onto the test strip.

Test Performance

Our test uses a mixture of antigens from the USA and Europe to cover a range of COVID-19 strains – providing a 97%* accuracy rate at picking up people with COVID-19 and an over 98% specificity rate, meaning a very low rate of false positives related to other types of flu.
